Where the spirit does not work with the hand . . .

I love this quote and how fitting it was for the hand pages I created as part of a collaborative project in the Altered Artists' Guild.   This project was started as a tribute to our amazing group leader Michelle who is recovering from hand surgery.  Read through her blog and you will see not only the struggles she has faced with this but also what an amazingly strong soul she is.

I had hoped to meet up with Mija - the swap hostess to help bind the books.  Despite this guild being full of members from all over the world, Mija lives only 2 short hours from me.  However, out schedules just couldn't work out this month so Mija and I will meet another time.

I can't wait to see and touch this finished project.  I know it will be amazing.  Everything this group has done is amazing and I am so lucky to be part of it.  I am not only talking about the art work produced by these artists but the heart, soul and support of this group.
